Organizer announces first two DJs in lineup, double checks texts to confirm they were actually invited

BERMUDA DUNES — Organizers of the mildly anticipated SunDrew Festival released the names of two DJs who have agreed to perform at the late February event.

“I’m happy to announce that we’ve secured two of the most well-known DJs in a three mile radius of Costa Mesa,” said Yassie Soltani, SunDrew’s organizer.

“We’re truly excited to have Big Cat and Eyeball Paul in our lineup. They both have played in front of other people before,” said Soltani.

Big Cat, also known as Matt Donovan, is a Brooklyn native, recently became a father, and happens to be the president of Soltani’s HOA.

The pair initially met after Soltani stormed into a board meeting to contest new homeowner fees levied by Donovan.**

“Tuesday is my Bravo night, so for me to attend an HOA meeting instead gives you an idea of how upset I was,” said Soltani. “But after meeting Matt we immeditely became friends and I didn’t purse the issue with the fees any further.”

“I may need to revisit that though if people don’t start venmoing me their ticket money,” said Soltani.

Paul Greenhalgh, known to his fans as Eyeball Paul, grew up in England and began his DJ career spinning vinyl. “I told him tea and biscits were not in the budget,” remarked Soltani.

Soltani confirmed the rumors that she was initially confused when she received text messages from both DJs accepting their invitations to join the lineup within minutes of one another.

“You would be too if you got a text from a cat then an eyeball. Then I remembered I volunteered to organize SunDrew.”
