Attendees up in arms after organizers botch FAQs

Long / tedious list of FAQs fails to include key information, organizers scramble to issue apology

BERMUDA DUNES — Attendees of the mildly anticipated SunDrew Festival are up in arms after reviewing the FAQ page of the festival website and discovering it did not include any information about what to wear.

“I’m a little disappointed that I had to ask about this,” said Colleen Malloy, who is scheduled to attend SunDrew in February. “Seems like one of the first things on an FAQ page for a new festival would be what to wear. I tried calling their customer service number and someone named Tommy Driver answered. His response was less than helpful.”

SunDrew organizer Yassie Soltani responded immediately, calling a press conference where she issued a public apology.

“I want to thank Colleen for bringing this to our attention and apologize to our ticket holders,” said Soltani. “We strive to provide as much information as possible to prepare attendees in advance, but this is what happens when you put your boyfriend in charge of building a website.”

When pressed by the single reporter who attended the press conference, Soltani eventually outlined how SunDrew planned to fix the issue.

“We’ve updated the website to include information about what to wear. We also sent Colleen an official SunDrew voucher, good for one free backrub.”

“I wanted to tell her that we’ll do better moving forward, but that felt like a hollow promise. I expected things like this might happen so I had 100 of these vouchers printed months ago,” said Soltani.

Malloy was thankful for the clarification, but said she wasn’t ready to fully forgive SunDrew just yet.

“I’m a forgiving person and I don’t blame Soltani, she’s trying her best, but it will ultimately depend on the quality of the back rub,” said Malloy.
